ABOUT ME

My name is Katie Whelan, I Graduated with First Class Honours Batchelors of Science Degree in Digital Animation from the Technological University of the Shannon

I have just over 2 years of experience as a 2D animator with skills in 2D rigged animation.

I have a total passion for art and Animation. In my spear time I am usually doodling in my sketchbook or spending time with friends

in May 2024, myself and some colleagues were invited by the national talent academies to speak at their Junior Professionals Panel in TUS Athlone

During my time at Boulder Media in 2026, the crew volunteered at Dogs Trust to decorate the grounds for the pups and staff.

Here is the design I submitted for the volunteer day, super happy with how it turned out!
